Male grooming infogram: from Movember to the rise of the lumbersexuals trend
Market researcher Datamonitor has compiled an interactive report for Cosmetics Design readers based on the main markets and trends driving launches in male grooming.

Male grooming is an important segment which has grown steadily in recent years.

Here, research analyst at the firm Maria Fernandez, looks at the rise of the “lumbersexuals” trend and hones in on the top five countries with most products in this segment.

This infographic is based on the market researcher's global survey and also includes examples of products for the beard and moustache that are currently illustrating this trend.

"If companies want to entice men across Europe and the USA back to shaving, then they perhaps need to look no further than to the recent launch from King of Shaves. The shave + shield combines both elements of shaving preparation and aftercare in one product, with no need to rinse," Maria gives by way of example.
