Ashland taps into epigenetics to target skin care pollution
The Cosmetics Design team caught up with Joel Mantelin, global marketing manager, biofunctionals at Ashland Specialty Ingredients, to find out how epigenetics is playing an increasingly important role in the company's research and development focus to develop more effective skin care ranges.
In line with this, Ashland has launched a biotechnology ingredient that taps into this cutting edge technology called Elixiance, which has been clinically proven to show a significant reduction in cellular stress from fine-dust air pollution.
