The in-cosmetics event returns to Paris this April and has announced the finalised educational programme which will see a number of workshops and presentations at the show focus on skin care, hair care, and colour cosmetics.

There will also be experts on-hand in the formulation labs, and a special focus once more on sensorial properties.

According to show organisers, visitors will have the opportunity to attend three days of workshops, seminars and presentations which will provide key information, enabling businesses to plan their long term future.

“This year’s education programme covers a number of issues facing personal care brands. Visitors can expect to hear valuable opinions and insights that will enable them develop the next generation of finished products for tomorrow’s consumers,”​ says Cathy Laporte, Exhibition Director of in-cosmetics.

“Experts will be on hand to help businesses gain a better understanding of technical and regulatory concerns, while offering unrivalled networking opportunities.”

Programme

The ever popular free-to-attend Marketing Trends presentations return for the three-day stint loking at the developments and influences that are shaping the industry, both at a market and consumer level.

Presentations will feature insight from market experts such as Mintel, Euromonitor, Peclers, Kline & Company, and Helen Miller Consulting, covering trends from around the world, including multicultural beauty, and natural and organic, as well as a special focus on the North American market, as it is this year’s Country in Focus.

The event will also feature 11 paid-for Workshops covering a wide range of subjects such as regulatory compliance, the claims substantiation process, the evolution in skin care, and legislation in cosmetic ingredients.

There will be sessions focusing on utilising omics, followed by a session on the skin microbiome, a session on ‘Worldwide Legislation on Cosmetics Ingredients Used in Consumer Products’, insights into the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and other key EU regulations, China regulations.

Sessions also focus on advancements in preservation, what’s new in the sun care sector, claim development and substantiation, and innovation in pigmentation.

The event sees the return of the Formulation Lab, which was a success at the Asia event; allowing visitors to see new concepts up close.

The Innovation Seminars and the Sensory Bar will also feature at the show, which takes place 12-14 April, 2016.
