The date to mark on your calendars is June 15th 2016 for the sixth edition the of Skincare Ingredients online event, which means it’s just four weeks away.

This year a full conference program will tackle the most pertinent and relevant issues in the skin care formulation arena, a program that has been compiled to bring you up to speed with what’s happening today and in the future.

Kicking off at 8am EST (New York) the event features a full-length conference program that will include up to eight webinar presentations on areas as diverse as textures and sensorial, anti-pollution, regulation and formulation stability.

These presentations will be given by top industry experts from leading cosmetic players such as DCL Skin Care, ingredients supplier Sabinsa, as well as in-depth industry knowledge provided by market research company Kline Group.

The program will also include sponsored presentations from Merck, Brenntag, Codif, Corum and Sabinsa.

Conference program starts at 8am EST

Indeed, the conference program will commence with a market overview delivered by Nikola Matic, who is industry manager for chemicals and materials practices at Kline Group.

This presentation will provide an essential look in at the latest ingredients solutions and technologies and help these are helping formulators to respond to the latest consumer trends.

Right now big topics include texture and sensorial, anti-pollution, natural and organic formulations and biotechnology – all of which are likely to be touched on in this overview presentation.

Sensorial and textures

Following on from the overview webinar will be a presentation entirely devoted to the important topic of sensorial and texture attributes in formulation, an area that is increasingly proving to be the make or break attribute for many new product launches.

To discuss this topic we have invited Joel Rubin, the senior vice president of R&D for leading skin care provider DCL, and an expert in the field of sensorial and texture with 48 years of industry experience.

During the presentation, Rubin will share insights on how he incorporated a luxurious sensorial experience with high performance ingredients to create the re-launch of the DCL face, body and hair collection.

Solutions to stabilize natural formulations

Since the advent of natural and organic formulations, one of the biggest challenges for cosmetic formulations experts is to insure that natural ingredients remain stable and compatible.

To discuss this topic in greater detail we will be hearing about the solutions that have been developed by leading active natural ingredients player Sabinsa Corporation.

During the presentation, Dr. Anurag Pande, who is vice president of scientific affairs at Sabinsa will discuss what are the main obstacles and then go into detail about the approach the company has taken to overcome these challenges.

The event broadcast will be on Wednesday 15 June, 2016. For more information and to find out about how to register for free, please click here.
