Swedish brand develops beauty from within skin care line using resveratrol
The Swedish company is using US biotech ingredient firm Evolva’s Veri-te resveratrol for its Reserol oral supplement, which is being marketed as a healthy ageing skin care line.
The Reserol product range combines a Functional Film Technology that allows the resveratrol to be delivered to the body through the inside of the cheek – a novel delivery system for an ingredient that is not yet common in the beauty arena.
Advantages of delivery system
According to the development team at Nutrinovate, the delivery technology demonstrates a number of advantages, including direct distribution to the bloodstream, faster bioavailability, and ease of use.
According to the Swedish research team, the development is the result of ten years of lab work, and the results of that work is protected by a number of global patents.
The efficacy of the skin care line has been backed by extensive trialling of Reserol, which the company says is underscored by results that show boosted levels of skin elasticity, reduced age spots and wrinkle depth, as well as improved skin smoothness.
The treatment
Each strip contains 20mgs of Veri-te reservatrol and the brand recommends a dose of s film strips for effective results.
The strips are available in both a plain and mint flavour, and the company says that it is planning to expand on the product line up within the next few months, including the addition of a vitamin film.
